The Italian luxury supercar maker Lamborghini is rethinking their aproach to vehicles, giving weight to eco-friendliness.
CEO Stephan Winkelmann discusses why the company does not want to build bigger and bigger engines in their luxury automobiles, saying, “It has come to the point where acceleration equals consumption. More consumption means increased CO2 emissions.”
The company will soon be exchanging heavier metals for aluminum which will aid in not only aerodynamic but also fuel consumption reduction.
