Infiniti has just announced their latest luxury crossover, the LX.  The Infiniti JX will debut in 2012 as a 2013 model and if this sexy sketch is any indication, we’re going to be floored by this new design.

The Japanese automaker has just released this sketch of the 2013 Infiniti JX, with plans to reveal the luxury car itself at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in August this year.

“The all-new Infiniti JX crossover will allow us to continue to expand the Infiniti brand’s presence in the Americas,” said Carlos Tavares, chairman, Nissan Americas.

The JX will be a three-row seating crossover with a lot of elegant lines, and it’ll probably be the first model in a new range of crossovers as this segment tends to expand.

“In 2010, Infiniti was one of the fastest-growing luxury brands in the United States, and this year we will expand our presence further to Mexico and Panama, followed by Chile in the first half of 2012,” he added.

With a price tag of $15,750, you’ll certainly expect a lot from your golf cart, but then, every golf cart isn’t a LaBenz Golf Cart.

While Louis Vuitton had nothing to do with this new Louis Vuitton-Inspired Custom Mini Cooper, it sure has the designer’s flare, does it not?!

German company CoverEFX has created a masterpiece in making this Louis Vuitton-Inspired Custom Mini Cooper.

The dark leather bears thousands of small gold specimens glued individually by hand to enact the signature Louis Vuitton feel with the foil embossing technique. The wheels and tires add to the complete look with a combination of OZ LM rims in matte black and matte gold metallic.  No word is available on how much the tuning job will cost, but this retro-designed Mini Cooper is drool worthy; even more than the stretched Mini XXL with a built-in swimming pool.

The dawning of the electric vehicles is here and Tesla Motors isn’t going to be left out in the cold that’s for sure.

The electric vehicle company has just announced their plans to create an electric SUV called the Model X SUV, a sporty crossover that will be the average size of a typical compact SUV while offering the interior space of a full-size passenger van

The electric vehicle company is able to achieve the space, according to the report, because Tesla, unlike traditional automakers, isn’t hampered by a large internal combustion engine and most of the most space absorbing systems that accompany it.

The vehicle could launch by 2014.

While there is no word on cost as of yet, we’re expecting this electric SUV to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $50,000 or more.

Luxury automaker Porsche is considering bringing diesel versions of their luxurious Cayenne SUV and Panamera sedan to the States which would meet the current interest in more fuel-efficient vehicles.

According to Automotive News Europe, Porsche would steadily bring in more diesel vehicles to the US as more luxury car buyers are preferring to be more eco-conscious with their car purchases.

“We are discussing internally if we should introduce the Cayenne diesel in the U.S. this year. Also a Panamera diesel is an option,” revealed Bernhard Maier, Porsche’s sales and marketing chief.

Ahh shucks.  Looks like we’re not going to be able to add the 911 GT2 RS Porsche to our holiday list after all as the 620-horsepower lightweight sportscar has sold out.

Yep.  The $245,000 supercar is completely sold out, which sort of makes sense we guess, since Porsche only manufactured 500 of these sexy babies.

And did we mention that the 911 GT2 RS can get to 62 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds and tops out at 202?  Yeah, we’re sad too.

Well the luxury market might just be finally springing  back after the turmoil of the recent economic woes are subsiding.

According to Bloomberg news, Bugatti, Volkswagen AG’s supercar brand and Fiat SpA’s Ferrari reportedly have been sold out of their most expensive luxury car models as the desire for luxurious goods is back on its feet.

All five of Bugatti’s 1.95 million-euro ($2.7 million) World Record, the globe’s fastest serial-production car, have been reserved. Chief Executive Officer Franz-Josef Paefgen showed the car, which has a top speed of 415 kilometers (258 miles) per hour, at the Paris Auto Show this week.

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG and Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz, the world’s two biggest luxury-car makers, are both targeting 10 percent sales increases this year as the economic recovery sparks a return of flashy purchases. BMW shares have surged 62 percent, Volkswagen has gained 35 percent and Daimler has advanced 25 percent this year.

Well, it’s about damn time, isn’t it?!
