Apparently Disney World is allocating some of their property for new luxury home construction. According to recent reports out of Florida, Disney is planning on building a gated community called Golden Oaks which will eventually see up to 400 new luxury homes.

Prices for the estates will start at $1.5 million and go up from there to at least $8 million.  We’re sorta of unclear on where these homes would be located, given the small amount of space left inside the park itself for such extravagance.

Just a few miles from the pristine Malibu beaches sits this stunning Topanga Canyon luxury estate with  incredible views of the  Santa Monica Mountains.

Just listed with a price tag of only $3,799,000, this luxurious estate features 2.5 acres, detached guest house, gourmet kitchen with Wolf range and Sub-Zero frig, pool, spa and all the room you could ask for.

Now we can know how the infamous Rockefeller’s live in modern days with this new estate listing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

This luxury townhouse, listed at $15.5 million, is the home of Mark and Renee Rockefeller and my is this a tasty estate!

The 25-foot-wide townhouse is 6,420 square feet. It has five floors plus a full basement with a wine vault, laundry room and exercise room. The four-bedroom home has one of the most amazing libraries I have ever seen, especially if you are a connoisseur of dead things. It has gleaming lacquered walls with animal skulls in front of a black and white marble fireplace surround and exotic animal heads and fur pillows atop tufted couches.

The home makes bold use of wallpaper prints, notice-me-now furniture and dramatic light fixtures. As the Real Estalker aptly puts it, “this is not your blue-blooded grandma’s townhouse.” It appears to be the sort of house one either adores or abhors. Public records show that “Maren Properties” (which is likely an abbreviation of Mark “Mar” and Renee “Ren”) of 30 Rockefeller Plaza paid $10.8 million for the home in June 2005. The home was on the market in 2008 for $18.5 million but can now be had for $15.5 millio

Despite the no flipping rule, it looks like an island in the World Project has been listed for sale, at a semi-reasonable $11.44 million.

An investor in the World project has listed an island on sale defying the “no flipping” diktat by UAE Defense Minister, Nakheel. While flipping is not allowed for islands on the World and since transfer of ownership is a complicated procedure in the UAE, still the 20,000 sqm island is up for sale for $11.44 million (Dh42 million).

Okay, first item on the to-do list, get $11.44 million somehow.  Second item, contact investor.  And third, move in, of course.

With everything that you expect from a Kanye West-owned home from Pop Art to beige minimalism, this Hollywood estate certainly doesn’t fail to miss that mark.

West has recently listed his Hollywood luxury estate for an asking price of $3.995 million, which he may very well get since the market is just getting back on its feet.
