Nicolas Cage In IRS Trouble Once Again

Actor Nicolas Cage can’t seem to get it together tax-wise as he is in trouble once again with the IRS.
Last fall Cage has to pay over $666K in back taxes to the IRS and it now looks like he is being subject to a $6,257,005 tax lien. Cage has listed several of his luxury realty properties and even sold some of his more valuable antique movie memorabilia but it’s going to take a lot to get out of that hole, Nick.

It seems amazing to me that Nicolas Cage is facing this tax bill right now. Firstly because its his second time in trouble with them in less than a year, you’d think he’d learn the lesson the first time….Don’t mess with the IRS.
Secondly, the guy makes $12 million per film, you’d think he could easily come up with the $6 million and change to satisfy the IRS. Could there be problems we don’t know about. Drugs? Gambling? Madoff?
