More and more people are shunning a computer accessory that used to be a necessity:  the mouse.

Coming in at a mere $1700 USD, the Optimus Maximus was every geek’s dream. The keyboard allows you to customize the layout to your hearts content as every key is its own stand-alone display. Each of the 113 keys can display upwards of 10 frames per second with 65,000 colors.

Optimus’s customizable layout allows convenient use of any language—Cyrillic, Ancient Greek, Georgian, Arabic, Quenya, hiragana, etc.—as well as of any other character set: notes, numerals, special symbols, HTML codes, math functions and so on to infinity.
