Tuesday July 13th, 2010 08:10 The Most Expensive Baked Potato Anyone?

Unless you’re a real carb lover, the Most Expensive Baked Potato probably won’t turn you on too much, but we do fall into that carb category, so you’ll have to excuse us.

Welcome to The Cary Arms restaurant in the coastal town of Torquay in Devon county, England where chef Ben Kingdon has created a most exquisite version of a luxury baked potato.

While staying at the Inn on the Beach, you can bite into the world’s most expensive baked potato and enjoy the subtle yet delightful hints of creme fraiche, lemon, chives and spring onions, which is then topped with caviar, of course.

The dish is served with balsamic-roasted vine tomatoes, side salad, and a glass of champagne.  Cost, $60.  Any takers?
